Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of StreamCal (“StreamCal”, “we”, “us”), an independent release calendar for movies and TV operated by an individual based in Greece (European Union). By creating an account or otherwise using StreamCal, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use StreamCal. By using the service you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. The service
StreamCal aggregates publicly available release dates, availability, ratings, and industry news for general informational purposes. We do not guarantee that any information is accurate, complete, or current. Your use of the information is subject to our Disclaimer. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
3. Your account
Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
When using StreamCal, you agree not to:
- break any applicable law or infringe anyone’s rights;
- post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, defamatory, deceptive, or spam;
- scrape, harvest, or bulk-download our data, or access the service through automated means except as we expressly allow;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure;
- impersonate others or misuse the social features.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you create — comments, title suggestions, your profile (username, display name, avatar), and similar. By posting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate StreamCal.
You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to post it. Some content is public or visible to other users (see the Privacy Policy). We may remove content that violates these Terms, and you can delete your own content at any time.
6. Social features
StreamCal lets you connect with friends and share watchlists, watched titles, and suggestions. Be respectful, and only connect with people you know or want to share with. You can end any friend connection at any time.
7. Notifications and email
If you opt in, we may send you browser push notifications and emails (such as release alerts or the newsletter). You can turn these off at any time in your settings or via the unsubscribe link in any email. Some essential service messages (for example, about your account) are not optional.
8. Intellectual property
StreamCal’s own name, design, and original content are protected by intellectual property laws. All movie and TV titles, artwork, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and informational purposes only. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. We are not affiliated with any streaming platform, studio, or distributor.
9. Third-party services and links
StreamCal relies on and links to third-party services and websites that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
StreamCal is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, as set out in our Disclaimer. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your reliance on information on the site or from interruptions to the service. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims and costs arising out of your misuse of the service or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
12. Suspension and account deletion
We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or misuse the service. You can delete your account at any time from your settings, which removes your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece and the European Union. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence still apply. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Greece, without prejudice to any consumer rights to bring proceedings locally.
