Brideshead Revisited is a 2008 drama romance film following Oxford student Charles Ryder as he becomes entangled with the aristocratic Flyte family and falls for Julia Flyte. Befriended by her brother Sebastian, Ryder is drawn into a world of privilege and power at their ancestral home, only to find his deepening ties to the family complicated by their devout Roman Catholicism. The film adapts Evelyn Waugh's classic novel and was released in July 2008.
