Death Note is a 2006 fantasy thriller that follows Light Yagami, a young man who discovers a supernatural notebook capable of killing anyone whose name is written in it. When Light uses the Death Note to eliminate criminals and reshape society, the world's greatest detective, L, is brought in to stop him, setting off an intense cat-and-mouse battle between two brilliant minds.
