When nearby construction disturbs a spiritual resting place, its disgruntled denizens do what any supernatural beings would do after a rude awakening: they terrorize the local school. Ghost Stories is an animated comedy series that premiered in 2000, following a group of schoolchildren who become unlikely ghostbusters after construction awakens supernatural spirits at their school. Blending horror and humor, the show centers on Satsuki and her misfit team as they face off against demonic classmates and otherworldly threats. The series has concluded with one season of supernatural chaos and comedic chaos.
