Mothra and her fairies return to Japan to warn mankind that they must return Kiryu to the sea, for the dead must not be disturbed. However Godzilla has survived to menace Japan leaving Kiryu as the nation's only defense.
Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S. is a 2003 kaiju action film in which Mothra and her fairies urge Japan to return the robotic Kiryu to the sea, even as Godzilla resurfaces to threaten the nation. The movie pits Japan's mechanical defender against the king of the monsters in an epic battle for survival.
