Marty guides Noah through her first bush plane landing at a remote caribou camp while Mike hauls a 50-foot gangway across land and sea to his Kodiak homestead.

Marty flies to new hunting grounds in search of an elusive caribou herd and Lauro and Neil build a trapping and fishing camp to help feed their sled dogs.

Chance and Soraya slaughter a ram to provide meat for their growing family while Lauro begins preparation for this year's Iditarod by taking his team on a fall training run.

Bret and Ivy bust through sheets of lake ice to ferry critical equipment to their cabin by boat and Lauro and Virginia use the dog team to haul fresh cut timber from the forest for a log cabin build.
