Season 1

A student abandons her baby at school and teacher Lúcia, who has just returned to the classroom, gets involved in the situation and takes the child home. On the same night, professor Marco André arrives at school and a student has a heart attack after taking medication to stay awake.

Lúcia discovers that the father of Solange's baby is a killer and tries to outwit him when he goes after her son, but ends up being kidnapped and saved by Jaci. Sônia receives a gift from a student, but when she refuses it, she is attacked by him. Meanwhile, Marco André tries to gain the respect of the students.

The disappearance of a saint causes religious conflict among students. Gislaine, a student who is a prostitute, almost loses the scholarship she won in a competition, but manages to secure the prize. The student also delivers a baby for a classmate at school. Leo, Jaci's son, catches his father kissing Lúcia.

Due to a clash between students selling snacks during recess, student Leo explodes a bomb at school and is expelled by Jaci. Marco André reprimands a student for smoking and is threatened by his brother, but Sônia intervenes. Lúcia reads a letter written by Marcelo and discovers that he had a passion.

Trying to help Rita, who is feeling ill after taking an abortifacient, Sônia goes to the hospital with Marco André, where he introduces her adoptive mother, a doctor. Pedro fights at school to defend Marcia, who is made fun of for breastfeeding in public. Lúcia goes to Milena to find out about Marcelo.

While remembering the feeling of shock after her son's death, Lúcia's class is robbed by a student who also dies. Natasha almost gives up on her performance in theater class when Evandro doesn't come to see her, but is encouraged by Sônia. Eliete tries to help Silvio, who reveals he is homeless.

Lúcia goes to Maicon's widow's house to offer help, which makes Jaci ask her to stay away from school. The director also discovers that Sônia buys medicine from Giraia after Russo finds a bag in the bathroom. Eliete tries to calm a conflict between Joelma and Valquíria, an ex-convict.

After advising Aline against reporting her boyfriend for aggression, Sônia confesses to Marco André that she suffers violence at home. The professor then invites her to live with him, but she doesn't go. At school, Lúcia is replaced by teacher Paulo, with whom Marcelo was involved before he died.

Injured after a shooting, Gero hides at school with the help of Cleiton. Sônia finds them and is taken hostage, as Gero is afraid of going to prison when rescued. Meanwhile, Paulo reveals the truth about Marcelo to Lúcia and Eliete ends up liking Jaci after the night they spend together.

Lúcia discovers the truth about Marcelo and Paulo, and Milena tells her that Alberto knew everything. Maria starts attending school. Leo tells Eliete about Lúcia and Jaci's case.

Sônia and Lúcia need to make difficult decisions to start their lives over. The students prepare for graduation and Marco André makes an important discovery.
