Set in early 1980s Detroit, the Flenory family is struggling to make ends meet prompting their sons Demetrius "Meech" and Terry to turn to drug dealing in an effort to help.

The rivalry between the Flenory brothers and Layton escalates, reaching a deadly new level. Meanwhile, the Detroit drug landscape is shifting due to gang wars, creating new opportunities.

Meech lands in Atlanta, determined to build a drug empire and new life. After securing a cartel connection and building a network of loyal hustlers, the "Black Mafia Family" is born.

Meech and Terry form BMF Entertainment, branching out into music, but as they reach their pinnacle of fame and fortune, law enforcement is getting suspicious.

A deadly shooting at Atlanta's hottest nightclub brings unwanted attention to Meech and BMF. Law enforcement zeros in on key evidence to the case they are building against BMF.

The Flenory brother's rift deepens, and the crew's loyalties are divided. Law enforcement makes key discoveries that force Meech to make a life-changing decision.
