It's Cake Week, and the latest batch of bakers are challenged to produce the perfect vertical layer cake in the signature, an iconic chocolate cake for the technical, and a sponge showstopper that features a menagerie of animals.

It's Biscuit Week and the bakers get stuck into a marshmallow-based Signature challenge, before cracking on with a custard classic in the Technical. Finally, in an illusion-themed Showstopper, the bakers make their favourite meal out of biscuits.

The bakers make a classic cottage loaf and head to Devon for the Technical. Whose plaited centrepiece will get the Breadmaster himself, Paul Hollywood, in a twist?

In a Bake Off first, it's Botanical Week and the bakers tackle bakes inspired by nature, starting with a spice-filled Signature, followed by a herby Technical and topped off with a floral dessert Showstopper.

It's Dessert Week and the bakers take on a retro crème caramel and a classic treacle sponge, before creating a showstopping meringue bomb. Who will peak and who will wobble?

It's Party Week and the bakes have a ball with a sausage roll and make an 'anything-but-beige' buffet. Who will put on a semi-finals-worthy spread and who will be a party pooper?

It's the semi-final and the four remaining bakers take on an elegant French patisserie Signature and a buttery French classic in the Technical, before making a showstopping Italian celebration cake made up of delicate puff pastry layers.

It's the final, and the three remaining bakers start with a jaw-dropping choux pastry Signature, before taking on a blast from the past in a sticky Technical and finishing with the ultimate celebration cake Showstopper.
