Shuhei Amamiya transfers to Moriwaki Elementary filled with hope and ambition. Igniting his meeting with an equally enigmatic child, Kai Ichinose, who seems to be the only one capable getting sound out of the thought to be broken piano.
The Piano Forest is a 2007 animated music drama about two young students who discover an old piano hidden in the forest. When bullied transfer student Shuhei meets the mysterious Kai Ichinose, the two form an unlikely bond through their shared connection to the instrument.
