In a remote, isolated Lebanese village surrounded by land mines, Muslims and Christians live together in peace. As civil strife starts to engulf the country around them, the women in the village try, by various means and to varying success, to keep their men in the dark by sabotaging the village radio, and then destroying the village TV.
Where Do We Go Now? is a 2011 Lebanese drama-comedy about women in an isolated village who use creative sabotage to shield their Muslim and Christian neighbors from the civil conflict raging outside their community. Directed by Nadine Labaki, the film explores themes of peace, unity, and the lengths communities will go to preserve harmony amid national turmoil.
