Season 1

Amanda succumbs to drugs, and the situation spirals out of control during a tense attempt to have her committed, orchestrated by her parents, Sofia and David. Miguel meets Vivian, his new client.

Miguel makes a confession to Sofia and David that creates tension between them, and after a tense battle with her family, Amanda accepts her admission to the clinic, with Sofia's support.

Amanda struggles with her stay at the clinic and the end of her marriage to Miguel. David grows closer to Marta, his assistant, and Sofia faces problems at the company following her absence.

Amanda leaves the rehab clinic and faces a difficult withdrawal at her parents' home, sparking conflicts with her sister Julia. She runs away and nearly succumbs to drugs.

After an attempt on Miguel's life and her dismissal from the hospital, Amanda succumbs and turns to drugs. David and Marta become increasingly involved with each other, while Julia and Eugenio drift apart.

Amanda cannot cope with the end of her marriage and turns to drugs once again. Vivian and Miguel become business partners, and after a crisis at her company, Sofia hires Adriano.

Amanda tries to recover from addiction. David's powerlessness regarding his daughter weakens him and drives him to confront an old enemy. Vivian and Miguel kiss.

Amanda resumes her life after being discharged. Worried, Sofia tells Julia about her husband's alcoholism. Amanda picks up her father at the beach, and they are involved in an accident.

Amanda, Sofia, and Julia join forces. After three months, Amanda starts her life over, free from crack. Miguel and Vivian separate.

Amanda and Miguel gradually grow closer again, despite Julia making moves on her brother-in-law. Amanda helps Camila and her baby daughter—an experience that changes the doctor's life.
